Before you step in front of the lens, I make sure the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and I guide you through every pose step by step. If you like, we can meet beforehand and talk in person about what you want to avoid and what you're curious about.
You arrive in the morning, usually around ten. The door is open, coffee or tea is waiting. Makeup and hair take forty-five minutes. Most women say those forty-five minutes were the calmest moment of their month.
The shoot itself lasts an hour or two. The first photos are in clothes, in full control. I show every pose, the placement of the hands, the angle of the head. I demonstrate them myself, I don't wait for you to guess. After the first change you usually stop remembering there's a camera.
The raw photos reach you within 24 hours, on a private, password-protected drive. You choose your favourite frames, I edit them, and you get the finished photos in four to five days.
The atelier where I work
The LOFT 22 studio in Praga-Północ is not a typical photo studio. It's five connected rooms in an old tenement house, each arranged like a separate, luxurious interior. In one there's a freestanding bathtub with real water. In the second, a grand piano, candles, a heavy velvet drape. In the third, a raw brick wall with a north-facing window that gives milky, even light throughout the day. There's also a separate white room with a suspended bed, an exceptional space that creates a completely different mood from the rest.
Each room speaks to the light differently and speaks to you differently, from a theatrical feel to intimate closeness.

I don't retouch women into a version they don't recognise. I don't erase pores. I don't slim the hips. I don't smooth wrinkles.
I want you to look at these photos in a few years and think I was really beautiful then, not I was well edited.

Three clients
I was afraid of this shoot for about half a year before I finally wrote. Tomek disarmed me on the very first call, we just had a normal chat about what I didn't want. What you're afraid of before the shoot
You don't. I've done shoots for women of every size, and every body looks different in different light and framing. I know where to place you so the frame makes itself. Most women say after the shoot that they regret only one thing: not doing it sooner.
Most of my clients have never stood in front of a camera before. I show every pose, every placement of the hands, every angle of the head. I demonstrate myself or on photos. After the first ten minutes the body starts to know where it should be on its own.
Everything stays in the photos. I don't smooth or erase, unless you ask me to. Most women say after the shoot that these were the photos they wanted most. Because this is part of you, just as you are right now.
We stop. No discussion, no explaining yourself. I help you get dressed, we make coffee, we talk about something else. It's happened literally a handful of times over several years. Every time, the client wrote a few days later saying she wanted to come back.
Nowhere without your consent. The photos go to a private, password-protected drive that only the two of us know. If I ever wanted to show a single frame, I ask for written consent first.
I prefer to work only with the person being photographed. An extra person distracts us both, and you often feel judged. If you'd feel more confident with someone close nearby, write to me and we'll talk.
How to prepare

Sleep and skin.
Get a good night's sleep the day before. Moisturise your body for a few days, and do any hair removal at least 24h before the shoot.

Well-groomed hands and feet show in close-ups.

Put it on the evening before, marks from elastic fade after a few hours.
